Accommodations for group trail rides can be made for parties of up to 24 guests with advanced planning. Group rides are conducted using the same safety policy as the standard, smaller rides. Things to remember when considering a group ride:

-- Riders must be a minimum of eight years old
-- Children ages eight to fourteen must be accompanied
    by an adult
-- All riders must be in good physical condition
-- Long pants and close-toed shoes required
-- Suggest wearing a hat and layered top and jacket –
it may be hot or cool!
-- Sunscreen highly recommended
-- Protective headgear provided by Piiholo Ranch
-- Raingear provided by Piiholo Ranch

Safety is our number one priority, and we will do everything possible to ensure the safety of all riders. There will be a briefing before the ride concerning safety and basic riding instruction. We use a standard height-weight ratio to establish a safe weight limit for each individual, and to maintain the well-being of out horses. In the event of extreme weather, the ride will be canceled or rescheduled. If it is misty or lightly sprinkling, the ride will go out (remember, we are on the edge of a rainforest). Variable weather lends itself to incredible textures of the landscape with the ever-changing light, mist, shadows and usually brilliant blue skies. This experience will lift your spirits.
